Penny has been a partner at Rawdon Dental Practice since 2004. She qualified in 1998 from Sheffield University and was awarded ‘The Sheffield Dental Practitioners Club Prize’ for the highest set of standards in conduct, courtesy, humanity and kindness in the treatment of patients. Penny worked in Harehills for six years treating anxious patients using sedation. She taught in the Oral Surgery Department at Leeds Dental Institute and worked for many years at the emergency out of hours clinic. Penny has been Chairman of the Local British Dental Association Young Dentists and a member of Leeds Local Dental Committee. Outside of work Penny enjoys exercising, walking her dogs and spending time with her family. Penny has been Chair of a local netball club since 2022.
Simon joined Rawdon Dental Practice in 2011. He qualified from Leeds University in 2003 and previously worked as an Associate dentist in Bramley and Heckmondwike. Over the past 15 years he has gained experience in all aspects of dentistry. "I always aim to reassure and put all my patients at ease". Outside of work I enjoy playing hockey and golf when I managed to find some spare time away from my three boys.
John qualified from Newcastle University in 2005 with distinction in restorative dentistry. He also has an honours degree in Biological Sciences and a postgraduate teaching qualification. John has been at Rawdon Dental Practice since 2016, previously practising in Newcastle and Buckinghamshire. He has a keen interest in all areas of dentistry and enjoys the challenge of treating nervous patients. John is involved with dental education and has run the clinical skills training module at Leeds Dental Institute for 3 years. He has also been a Foundation trainer for dentists in their first year of general practice. Outside of dentistry he can be spotted travelling down a mountain on bikes or skis or travelling up on ropes, although he does seem to be slowing down these days with age being a limiting factor!
Roland qualified from Sheffield University in 1998 and then obtained a further qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002 after working as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery.
He is currently a partner in a Dental Practice in Sheffield providing general dental treatment. Following a Post-Graduate Diploma in Endodontics he has also provided an Endodontic referral service for the past 15 years both in Sheffield, Manchester (SimplyEndo) and Jersey.
Rob graduated from Leeds University in 2003. Following his first year in practice he spent a year working in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Leeds General Infirmary gaining experience in Oral surgery. He went on to gain his Diploma Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery at Edinburgh.
His interest in the restoration of patient's mouths with the use of dental implants led to the undertaking and completing of a Diploma in implant Dentistry through the Royal College of Surgeons, London. Since then he has completed hundreds of cases.
Outside of work Rob tries to spend as much time as possible on the golf course.
Chris graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2017. Since graduating he has worked as an associate dentist in London and Leeds. Chris enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. He has recently undertaken further postgraduate training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, with the aim of providing high quality care to his patients.
Outside of work Chris enjoys keeping fit with dog walking, going to the gym and running. He also enjoys playing tennis and football.
